Personal Vision

Every Change Maker needs a personal vision, a North Star guiding their next steps. 🌟

You're a healthcare pro who's sick of the status quo, and you intend to do something about it.

A powerful vision connects to your purpose, aligns with your assets, and pulls you to your potential. Together, we’ll clarify your vision and set you up for success along the journey. 

 

You will walk away from our 6 months together with a Personal Vision Map for the next 5-10 years, along with personalized resilience and engagement tools to help you get there.

As a Change Maker, you recognize the value in stepping outside of the status quo and carving your own path. But you don’t have to do it alone. Together, we will move through 5 stages, each designed to develop an essential skill to support you along your Change Maker Journey.

Catalyst

What is your deep, motivating purpose? How have you developed your worldview and values? And how do these internal structures inform where you go from here? 

 

Connecting to your Catalyst spurs your Change Maker Journey and gives you an initial direction. Thus, this is where our coaching process begins. 

Agency

Where do you have agency you may not have seen before? What existing resources might you leverage to create a powerful impact? How can we build belief in your capacity and capability to make change?

The systems you work within - and may be working to change - are powerful forces. But as a part of these systems, you too have power. In this stage, we’ll build your belief, catalog your assets, and explore potential routes of impact along your Journey.

How might we increase your mental flexibility so you can navigate roadblocks? Where are you overpromising that leaves you running above a comfortable capacity? How can we guide your brain to prioritize strategic action over emotional reaction?

 

Like on any journey, there will be obstacles. Whether you are walking into the headwinds of the status quo or navigating uncharted territory, it is essential that you be able to care for yourself along the way. Building resilience is far more than drawing bubble baths. You will develop personalized practices to protect you from burnout and ensure that you can sustain the journey.

Vision

What is your intended contribution to the world? What do you claim as your next big destination? What will it take to get there?

 

Your Vision is the finish line of your Change Maker Journey. A clear vision is an active force, pulling you to your potential. Through guided reflection and strategic analysis, you will collapse years of discernment into 3 months of coaching, walking away with a clear vision and roadmap to get there.

What are the next steps you need to take? How do we ensure you stay engaged? Where can we infuse JOY into your journey? 

 

The Change Maker Journey is lifelong. It requires commitment, curiosity, and growth. Together, we’ll devise strategies to see your personal vision through.

Program Structure:

1. We begin with a 90-minute Deep Dive Call to learn more about who you are, where you’ve been, and what direction you might like to go. Your personal vision is not cast within a career vacuum. It is an expression of who you’d like to be - as a whole person, not just a professional.

 

2. Over the next 6 months, we will meet for 18 50-minute sessions, moving through the CARVE Your Path framework, giving more attention to the stages that make sense for you.

 

3. After each call, you'll get a 'Wrap Up Email' from me with that week's action steps. Between calls, I often assign additional activities and video lessons to propel your growth. 

4. After our first 6 months together, you have options: 1) Continue weekly coaching, 2) Move into alumni bi-weekly coaching, or 3) Graduate the program.

You can expect to commit 1-2 hours per week to your personal vision development.

$497/mo x 6 (Total = $2,982)

If you haven't yet taken Change Maker Essentials, the pre-requisite course... no worries! You can bundle the CME curriculum with coaching for an additional $497 (vs. $997).

Nurse Leader Coaching

You’re a skilled nurse and a compassionate leader. But leading inside of a complex organization is no easy task - let alone taking care of yourself while doing it. 👩🏻‍💼

This program is for highly motivated nurses ready to step into the role of a transformational leader and change agent.  We’ll add advanced change leadership tools to your skillset. You’ll put them into practice + troubleshoot roadblocks with weekly reflection and support.

 

Expect to feel more successful, aligned, and encouraged in your professional work. Be prepared to hone skills that executives 20 years ahead of you haven't heard of. And get ready for your boss and your team to notice.

Together, we will assess your current professional strengths + priorities - and develop a plan to meet your  - and your team’s - unique needs using my SPECTRUM framework. Each of the following principles will be infused into our conversations, curriculum, and decisions.

Systems Thinking

What are your cognitive habits? Where is your growth edge for advancing as a systems thinker? How can you see your toughest work challenges more clearly?

 

In order to change systems, you must think IN systems. Systems thinking offers you a framework to see problems clearly, a set of tools to analyze possibilities, and a language to advocate effectively.

Partnerships

Where do you have opportunities for meaningful collaboration? How can you better strategize and track stakeholder engagement? Who has social power and why? What organizational incentives might exist that prevent interdepartmental or interprofessional partnership? How might you navigate them? 

 

Other people are your allies first, obstacles second. Collaboration is critical to effective change making. We assume good intentions until proven otherwise. We acknowledge that people are rarely the problem – it is the structure they find themselves within.

Execution

What do you and your team need to be successful? How can you work smarter, not harder? What types of tasks tend to fall through the cracks? Where can we lean on routine? 

 

Strategy is useless if we are not able to effectively execute it. Together, we’ll assess your operational strengths and weaknesses - and develop processes and habits to bridge the gaps.

Communication

How can we strengthen connection with your team? What is missing from your weekly check-in with your one-up? What conversations do you avoid having? Where is information breakdown occurring, and how can we adjust? What is your relational style?

 

Clear, respectful communication is essential for teams - especially inside a dynamic, high-stakes environment. As a leader, you must bridge the gap between senior decision-making and frontline needs. You also set the tone for your team. Together, we’ll develop strategies to enhance transparency and genuine care among you and your people.

There are limits to your time, energy, attention, and budget. With these realities in mind, we’ll identify strategic leverage points that give you the highest ROI.

Mapping

Where is there value in communicating complex concepts in a simpler, visual way? How are you tracking data and sharing insights with your team? What design tools can you use to amplify your storytelling and problem-solving? How can you share these tools with your team?

 

Mapping is the practice of charting what you have uncovered for the benefit of others. After our time together, you will navigate like an explorer and communicate like a designer.

Therapy Session

We begin with a Needs Assessment, which you will complete before our first call. 

 

You will thoroughly assess the strengths and opportunities of yourself, your team + department, and your organization.

Online meeting

Our first session together will be a 90-minute Deep Dive Call in which we will review your Needs Assessment and make a personalized plan to address your identified needs.

In the coming months, we will meet for weekly 50-minute sessions. Before each call, you will submit a Weekly Reflection, which will clarify your thoughts, track your progress and inform our discussion. 

 

Between calls, you may be assigned additional activities or lessons to propel your growth.

Nurse Leadership Coaching begins with a minimum commitment of 6 months, with the opportunity to extend.

Add-On: 6 months of Voxer Access

You will have voice memo + chat access to me daily (M-F) to process through the day-to-day challenges of leadership + change management. You'll have a coach, colleague, and systems change expert in your pocket.
